I started to look for a vacation home in Sonora using an out of market realtor and managed to get into contract. From the moment the contract was signed it turned into a complete disaster, which prompted me to look for a local agent. After some research, I landed on Mike Morales and switched agents mid contracts. It was Mike’s willingness and knowledge of the local market that helped me get out of the existing contract and find a new property. After finding property number two and submitting an offer that was accepted shortly after, the experience was night and day different. Mike did an excellent job at explaining the contract before having me sign and educated me on what is generally accepted in the Sonora market, which was far different than what was being accepted in the Bay Area market. With Mike’s guidance, I got into deal number two with a smaller earnest deposit (as a percentage) than with property number one and he even managed to get me credit for repairs and we closed at asking.
I can’t thank Mike enough for getting me into a good deal and getting us to close. When looking for another property in the surrounding area, I will be using Mike again.
